What’s That One Thing That Will Affect Everything Else in Your Business

One domino. Now if you have never read the book "The One Thing," they talk about one domino. What?s the one domino that when you hit it, makes all the difference? What's that one thing that if you get that done, it will affect everything else in your business? If you haven't read "The One Thing," yet, go pick it up. If you have, I just want to remind you that that one thing that you really focus on, that you can see an end result, will really matter. 

And to highlight, that at their retreat, they hand out these dominoes, which I think is really interesting. But it's not just the dominoes that matter, it's what's on the dominoes that matter. So on each of these cards is a word. Intuition. Spirituality. Vision. Connection. Harmony. These are all values. Freedom. They give you a pack of these cards, and your goal or task because they time you, is to go through probably 100 of these words and figure out which ones are your top five values. 

Now if you've never done a values assessment like this before, I highly, highly, highly recommend it. And the cards make it super cool and easy, but it is ridiculously hard to choose. Now we have a worksheet that I can give you also that has a list of these words that you can pick from, or you should check out, "The One Thing" retreat. But I highly recommend, especially before 2020 really gets into swing, that you understand what you value the most. Because if you're not spending your time on the dominoes that really make a difference, by the end of 2020 you're not going to feel like you accomplished what you really wanted. Because they're not aligned with your values, and step number one is knowing what your top values are.
