What Goes Into a Startup?

Results of the survey are in… most of you are looking for how to start your business!

I’ll call it a startup. In the past, the word “startup” mostly referred to tech companies, or companies that wanted to be venture funded. But really all it is:

A startup is a company designed to grow fast.

Who doesn’t want to grow their business fast? We are entrepreneurs, we like things fast. 🙂

A lot of people talk about startups, and wanting to start a business. It’s a VAST subject. A ton goes into it.

With the book and everything coming up, I want to make sure that I’m creating the information that YOU want. (Not what I think you want, but what you actually truly need right now to help you succeed!)

I will get the absolute experts on specific subjects to dive deep. If you want to know about Social Media I want to be able to ask Gary Vaynerchuk exactly the questions you need to know.

What specifically do you want to know?

Comment below and tell me everything!! (list it, write a book, do whatever it takes so I can give you the information you need! AND you’ll get my huge THANK YOU fo helping too!)

  • I voted for How to grow your existing business because GROWTH is what we’re really gunning for this year. If I had to break it down, I would ask for tips on great EXECUTION. What’s it take to build a business from Good to Great?

It would also be nice to have some tips on making sure our businesses are Built to Last. How do we focus on the long-term needs, not wants, of our best customers? It turns out there’s already a whole book on that, too.

  • Thanks for the results of the survey. I started my internet business a year ago and I have a blog and an ecommerce site.My issue is outsourcing. I’m unsure how much to pay an outsourcer in relation to what I want done.

I’ve owned the business for two years and nothing seems to work. Now I am looking to get the most bang for my buck. Where do I begin where I do not have to spend too much money?

Anyway thanks Jaime, just listen to Dane Maxwell and I really like the writing advise. Now I will writing every good stuff in paper with my hand so that it can get into my dna. 😀

    • Great questions Azad!! There is no there is no end. 🙂 I like to say I help my clients determine opportunities from distractions. SO YES I know there is a lot to get through with this. Thanks for the comment!

  • I think a big part of start up success is consistency. Anytime a person doesn’t consistently work on their business, they end up falling 3 steps back because they have to gain momentum again. If you own a website, you’ll notice your visitors not visiting frequently if you don’t add new content on a regular basis. Consistency is where the challenge lies for most startups
