Vunerability and Connection

One thing I think we need a lot more of in business is - It's not what you think. Vulnerability. 

One of the reasons why we feel so disconnected, so lonely, and so anxious as an entrepreneur is that we think we have to do it ourselves. But not only that. That's just the beginning piece. The big problem is that even the people that we're connected to, we don't actually share what's really going on. We don't wanna be one of those entrepreneurs that talks about all the problems and just says everything to everyone. That doesn't feel good, either. That could hurt our reputation. 

But what I really want you to consider is being able to have a group of trusted people that you love, ideally, that really understand what you are going through, and you can actually be vulnerable with them and create a connection unlike any other. A lot of the times, entrepreneurs think they have to share them with their wife or their husband, when in reality, that's not really the vulnerability in business that I'm looking for because no offense, if they're not an entrepreneur, that might even scare that crap out of them. 

But if you can create a mastermind group, join one, create one, it doesn't matter, with people that you can really build trust and vulnerability over time, that will create a connection that will make you feel so much less disconnected in business. We don't share that stuff because we think that we're supposed to put something like walls of protection because we can do it all. But you know you can't because you're human, and that's okay. 

I work with six and seven-figure businesses, and everybody's got something, so don't feel bad about it. Only create that circle of trust where you can actually be vulnerable, and that will make you feel like a better human, business owner, wife, husband, father, mother in your entire life. Enjoy.
