The Courage to be Disliked

The courage to be disliked. Now, that in itself is an amazing statement, but the book that it is, is even better. I can't remember who recommended it to me, but I highly recommend you go out and pick it up if it resonates with you. I consumed it in two days. I've actually listened to it more than once now. 

Some of the chapters are called "The Courage to be Normal," 'cause it really talks about having this being a special mentality and how that really messes us up. And also, what the greatest life lies are and what workaholism is. It's based on Adler Psychology. 

I highly recommend it. It really takes self-responsibility to the next level. So if that title resonates with you, as I know it did with me, I was like, "Oh, I don't want to be disliked. I don't like that part." I got it. I highly, highly recommend you going through it probably more than once, because it's iteration after iteration of really potent advice told in sort of a storytelling story. It's amazing. I highly recommend you go picking it up today.
