Stop Confusing Your Customers

One of the very first things I do with a new client is to ask them what are their products and pricing and packaging so that way I get a good understanding of the business. And you'd be surprised how many times I listen to them and I have no idea what's what. Now, if I'm confused and I'm really trying to understand everything that you sell, imagine how confused your customer is. 

So, what I want to give you for a quick tip today is I want to challenge yourself, I want you to actually chat with somebody that doesn't actually know your products or pricing and do it very very quickly in a short amount of time and see if they understand it. If they look at you confused or have a hundred questions afterward, trying to clarify it, you've done something wrong. It should be very simple to explain what you're getting, unless, of course, you need a proposal. 

But then, of course, that has to be simple too, okay? And a lot of the times we don't go back and look, we just assume we're having issues with our sales calls or like the way that we're setting up our sales calls when in reality we are just confusing them at the end of the sales call and they can't actually make a decision because they don't know what's what. 

So today, challenge yourself and go talk to someone about your pricing and packages and that will most likely increase your conversion rate. Take care.
