Quick Tip – Easy Referral

I love leveling up referrals. And I wanted to give you a quick tip example of something that happened to me just a few weeks ago. 

One of my friends reached out to me and asked me if I know a good coach for something that she was going through, and really wanted to change. I know quite a few people in that space so I ended up sending her a few websites just to see who she actually resonated with. She ended up loving one of the coaches. And I know her only a little bit. I actually almost hired her once, but I didn't realize that she would remember me at all. She sent me an email that was like "Thank you so much for referring this amazing woman. What's your address so I can send you something?" 

I love getting things in the mail so I ended up sending her my address. And the next day, a box from Kendra Scott popped on my doorstep, kind of felt like Christmas. I love getting stuff in the mail. I now don't go to my PO box ever, so apparently everything comes to my doorstep. This is gorgeous and was hand-picked by her hoping that I would like this specific necklace. 

Now, the wonderful thing about this and this is the quick tip on the referral side of things, is every single time I go to look at my jewelry and pick out this necklace or even just look at it, I think of her, which means she is in my mind even randomly in the morning when I never would have thought about her before. 

I highly recommend, if you do end up giving referral gifts of some kind, it's something that they actually use, so not something boring and annoying, or even potentially not something that they eat, because then it's gone. But something that they could actually notice often and think of you. That way, I'm going to always remember she gave me an amazing gift. I kind of want to send her more referrals now. Does that make sense? 

So I highly recommend really thanking the people that are giving you referrals in a way that is extremely memorable. Have an amazing day.
