So you probably know what a strategic partner is, it's really trying to share resources whether it be intellectual resources, prospects, introduction to people in your network, whatever you can that's a win-win for both businesses. But how do you get those coveted strategic partners? Well, here's a quick tip that works really well on me, I get a lot of emails every single day and it takes a lot to try and get through the weeds, especially, because I don't do random coffee meetings or networking events, or anything like that. So trying to get a call with me is pretty difficult. But, this totally works. My good friend, Nathan Latka, ended up - three of my friends to email me on the same day saying that I had to talk to him. Now, one introduction is pretty good don't get me wrong, but getting three all in one day I was like, "Who is this guy?! What's- How do I need? Why do I need to know him so much?" Getting that level of strategic partner to really know, like, and trust you from three friends that are actually connected to them is huge. Now after, they're completely cold this might be more difficult, ideally, you can start to try and figure out who their friends are and start working and building the network that way.
