A Day In The Life Of An Entrepreneur

Have you ever seen that meme, a day in the life of an entrepreneur? 

And it's like, oh, I'm excited. Oh, wait, no, I was wrong. I suck. O wait, no, things are working. I think it's going well. Oh, wait, no, I was wrong again. Oh my gosh, I'm going to go bankrupt. Right. It goes up and down, and up and down, and up and down, and yes, it is a funny joke, but oh my gosh, it is way too ringing true for most entrepreneurs in general. I work with clients, and it is like that. It goes up and down and up and down. 

So I want to give you one tip. What do you do when you're in that down spot? The good spot feels great, you don't need a tip for that. When you're in that down spot, whether it be in the day or whether it's going for a little while, what I want you to do is focus on what?s thriving. You are the only one that has a chance to pay attention to what you're looking at. 

So, if you look at the crap that sucks, in business, there's always something that sucks, if you look at what sucks then you'll take yourself down. If you can actually go, you know what, this thing over here is actually working. Or my employee is amazing. Or whatever those small little things are, those focus points that are actually already thriving. That's how you start getting yourself out of the slump. Because the slump is there and the more the negative pattern of thoughts that keeps going down and down and down, the lower and lower you go. 

And don't get me wrong, this takes a lot of practice. Nobody in this world that I know of, that's not enlightened, is good at this and can do it all the time. But, the point is to do the reps. So, when you notice yourself in the suck mode, look for what is thriving. I hope that helps especially on one of those down days.
