Let Me Admit Something

In today's video, I wanted to be a little vulnerable and admit something. Well, I'll show you. I kill every plant known to man. I definitely, definitely do not have a green thumb. I probably have no thumb because it's dead. But what it made me think of is, what I try to do on the plant?s side of things, is very comparable to what I see people doing in business. 

So it's like, "Oh shoot, I totally forgot to do all that! Let me add extra water into it, hoping that it will make up for all that time that I didn't do it beforehand." When in reality, I mean you saw it. So when we have this tendency to not be consistent, as I am not with plants, or you might not be with meditation or marketing or prospecting, you have these hills and valleys. And look at what it's doing to your business! Or your brain for meditation or whatever the things that you really aren't consistent on. 

So I would much rather have you do 5 minutes every day when it comes to prospecting or meditation, or 2 minutes for meditation if five seems like too much, than to do what I do with plants, and try and overcompensate and then stop and then overcompensate and stop because even though we can't see the state of your business right now, that is potentially what the state of you business might be. And that's why when I get into businesses, I'm like, "Ooh, eeh," right?
