That was a very informative interview. Charlie is a great speaker and brought up several points to consider if starting your own business. I could listen to him speak more in his business innovations.
Really liked the concept of “Delay is the Ultimate Form of Fear”…such an important concept. I find myself in analysis paralysis and create spreadsheets and read book after book, but yet when it comes to action…I plod along at best rather than being bold as Charlie also emphasized. Thanks again for another insightful interview.
One thing I can do that is innovative in my company is implementing a new consumption model for my customers; through audio and mobile marketing and entertainment. Lets make free information entertaining to consume. 🙂
Thanks for sharing Charlie!
Great advice! Just goes to show you can make money through any avenue. It doesn’t always have to be a flashy or exciting product. I’d love to hear more interviews with Charlie!
Hey, Jaime,
I have to agree about the statement “delay is the ultimate form of fear” remark – that’s definitely ME! I am pushing through it, though, and finally getting my online tutorial videos started. First one done (huge victory for a perfectionist like me)…now on to the next 50 or so :).
As far as innovative marketing ideas, that’s always a tough one. I have actually implemented an off-line campaign of a simple, old promotional item – a pen. What I thought was innovative was/is the offer of a free gift on the promotional item: I have my URL with the /free-gift after it. Instead of always promoting just your regular URL, It’s a good idea to send someone to a splash page with another offer (I believe I may have just heard this on one of your other podcasts…!). I JUST started promoting this, so I will let you know how it goes.
Thanks again for yet another great episode.

That is really attention-grabbing, You’re an overly skilled blogger.
I have joined your rss feed and look forward to searching for more of your excellent post.
Additionally, I’ve shared your site in my social networks
With havin so much written content do you ever run into any problems of plagorism or copyright infringement?
My website has a lot of unique content I’ve either authored myself
or outsourced but it looks like a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my agreement.
Do you know any techniques to help prevent content from being stolen? I’d genuinely appreciate it.
Thanks for some other informative website. Where else may just I am
getting that type of info written in such an ideal approach?
I have a challenge that I’m just now operating on, and I’ve been at the look out for such info.
I do consider all of the concepts you have presented in your post.
They are really convincing and can definitely work. Still, the posts are too brief for beginners.
Could you please extend them a little from next time?
Thank you for the post.
excellent points altogether, you just gained a new reader.
What may you suggest about your post that you made a few days in the
past? Any sure?
For the reason that the admin of this site is working, no hesitation very soon it will be famous,
due to its feature contents.
Have you ever thought about including a little bit more than just your articles?
I mean, what you say is fundamental and everything. However think of if
you added some great images or videos to give your posts more, “pop”!
Your content is excellent but with images and videos, this site could undeniably
be one of the greatest in its niche. Amazing blog!
I like looking through an article that can make people think.
Also, many thanks for allowing for me to comment!
