How To Level Up Your Conference ROI

How do you level up your conference ROI? 

Well, I know a lot of people love going to conferences. Yeah, the contents good, but it's really about the people. One quick tip that I have for you and I tell all my clients this, is to plan in advance. Try and get the list maybe from Facebook invite, or if you have an actual list of the conference or their speakers. Go through that list and highlight the people that you already know you want to connect with. Make a little plan in advance. 

Then when you're at the conference, what I highly recommend is actually planning a lunch or dinner. And the way you want to set this up is when you meet somebody and they seem like a great influencer or a potential prospect. I highly recommend saying, " Hey, I'm thinking about doing a lunch or a dinner. Can I have your cellphone number? I'd love to invite you and I don't know exactly what the plans are quite yet, but I'll text you and let you know." When you actually get their cell phone number, you then become instant credible friends. 

Whoever gets a cell phone number, all my friends have my cell phone number, they don't have my email, they don't have, well, maybe they have my email, hopefully they do, but they don't email me, they text me, and when you actually level up that level of connection with these new people, you become more friendly. Know, like, and trust is the first thing to know in order to have somebody actually connect with you and potentially buy from you or promote you, or be an affiliate for you, whatever those pieces are, it all starts with this. 

So I highly recommend going through, getting a cell phone number from many people. You can actually have more than one dinner. You can have a prospect dinner. You can have an influencer dinner. You can really start being that middle man connector for everyone else to have an even better time at the conference and then later, way easier for follow up, when you just send them a quick text instead of a whole email thing, it was quite nice to meet you.
