You sure You’ve got Your Big Boy Pants On

It's time to put on your big boy pants or big girl pants. 

One thing that I've been seeing more and more lately, actually, is this sort of way to be half in and half out. "We just have contractors. We don't have W2 employees." This commitment phobia that I'm seeing with entrepreneurs or business owners, in general. It's like, "Oh, I need somebody for 10 hours a week over here or 20 hours a week." It's like, "I don't want you to actually care about the money that I'm giving you, that way if this doesn't work out so well, ahhh, it's not on me. You can go somewhere else. I was only a piece of what you needed for your family." 

But when you have employees, W2 employees that are dedicated to you, you are dedicated to them, they provide better work. It actually makes you feel like a big boy or big girl business owner, where you actually have responsibilities and your company matters. You stop playing small. You actually do the things that a leader needs to do in order to run a company that can sustain employees. So I'm just calling it out today. Are you wearing your big boy pants or your big girl pants?
