Are Ideals Good For Business

Do you think ideals are good in business?

Now, let me give you the definitions. There's a handful. One is the thing that's most suitable. Right? That seems normal. But the other one is existing only in the imagination. Desirable or perfect but not likely to become a reality. 

And I see this way too often with clients I absolutely adore that we have these ideals as a business owner on the way it should be. Our expectation of the way it should be, whether it be with the employees, goal setting, many, many things in the business where we're like, "Wait, all the gurus said it was supposed to be like this." Or, "Everbody said that the employees are supposed to be amazing and do everything I say exactly as I want it." And that can get you caught in a trap. 

So I want you to think about today, where are you doing that in your business and how do you find more of a middle ground? A middle way that makes it not so, "It has to be this way or else I will be upset." Because that is a recipe for failure, which I know you understand. Failure internally, not even externally, right? 

So I want you to think where in your life and in your business you might be holding up to ideals or holding other people to ideals that maybe you can't even hit, and give them and you a break. Have an amazing day!
