An Important Reminder

I want to remind you of something really, really important. I was chatting with one of my clients the other day and she's younger, she's around 28/29 years old, and she's super stressed right now. She did just sell an amazing amount of Mastermind members, 24 members in three weeks, and yet, is still super, super stressed. Now, the thing that I told her, and this is what I really wanted to remind you of also, is that right now, even ridiculously amazing business owners are feeling the weight of COVID-19. It's a little insane. 

And if you haven't built up your business foundation beforehand, especially because she's a  newer entrepreneur, only a handful of years in, that you don't realize how important a foundation is until it gets rocked out from underneath you. And so some of the older entrepreneurs maybe have been banged around a little bit and understand how important that foundation is. And that foundation means consistency and focus of recurring revenue potentially, of making sure our cash flow and our saving is okay. All those things that seem kind of unsexy normally but are really, really important for times like these. 

So what I really wanted to remind her was that in 10 years from now, she's going to know how important physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, she's going to know how important having a foundation in her business is going to be, forevermore. You can't take that knowledge away, and I really just want to highlight for anybody that's going through a stressed-out time right now, I send you as much love as I possibly can from my family to yours, and I know you know logically that this too shall pass but I want you to remember how many lessons you are learning within this. Because I know it doesn't feel like progress or momentum or what you really like looking at, which is your bank balance going up, but this still counts, potentially even more than anything else you've ever done during the good times. This is where the true lessons are really learned. 

And so I just wanted to remind you today that even though it feels kind of crazy sometimes, this is why we're entrepreneurs. This is why we do it, for our personal evolution and getting better as a human. So I can tell, she's getting amazing lessons right now. She's going to be such a great entrepreneur in 10 years. She definitely is now but it's going to get better, and her wisdom's going to get better and better and better. And I just want to remind you today, it's exactly the same thing that's happening to you no matter where you are in your business. And no matter how bad it sucks right now, it will get better.
