Jaime,
Great work, keep it up. Just wondering, as I think about doing a podcast myself, what do you have your guests do who don’t already have a microphone/equipment? As it seems like many of them do have a mic ect..
Thanks a lot,
Greg
Greg, Jaime has some great recommendations for mics on her resources page. She’s listed which items she uses and, although they can get a little pricey, they’re an investment in your business!
Recently, I just heard Seth Godin recommend “giving” as much as possible and always delay the monetize. Of course, we all know this is a great mindset to gain trust from your audience but may or may not result in a sustainable business. Curious about what you think on the tipping point to stop giving away for free and start charging. Is there such thing as giving away too much?
That is a great question!I had this same dilemma. I say that in order to be a business you need to sell. If you are giving away content and people love it- then that’s enough 🙂 I almost do a 50/50 for free vs paid content 🙂
Thank you, Jamie, for these fantastic interviews.I’m so grateful I have found you.

Such a great episode! Michael Hyatt is such a knowledgeable person and I got so much out of the episode. As for your question on my #1 strategy for goal setting, I have to say visualization & saying my goals out loud. This is something new I’m testing and so far it’s working well. I will write a letter to myself as If I completed my goals congratulating myself. Then I will read that letter every morning to get myself pumped up for the day. I will also post my goals on social media to help keep myself accountable.
Thanks Jaime – great show! Hearing Michael say that you can get a podcast episode edited and produced for as little as $50 was a great nugget for me. I had no idea. I hate the technical stuff, and the thought of having to take it all on myself has been holding me back from moving forward, I think.
Hi Jaime, great podcast, I was hoping you had the name of the virtual assistant company Michael used for 5 hours a week. Thanks
Hey Perez – not sure of what company Michael used but a few our team recommends are virtualstafffinder.com, eLance, and Zirtual.com. Those are a great place to get started!
One of the best podcast episodes ever! Great interview, great host and great guest! So motivating! Thanks guys for putting this together! 🙂 ~ ! Jordan !
Awesome episode, I immediately changed the language on my webinar pages from using words like ?learn? to discover and revealed. I really see how in the beginning it’s just important to get out here and get started and as you grow in the industry how important it is to test once you have a a descent user/customer base. Thanks for this interview.
Hi Jamie,
I loved the interview, but the link to BestYearEver.me/Jaime it’s not working…
Is there anything you can do to help me?
The link works for me! What did it do? 🙂
